Family Board Game

Game Rules

Use this page as a simple guide for local and online matches.

Objective

Move your pieces around the board and bring them safely to the finish path before the other players. The game supports two, three, or four players.

Turns And Dice

  • Players take turns rolling one die.
  • The current turn is shown in the game status area and highlighted on the player badge.
  • After rolling, move one available piece by the dice value.
  • If more than one piece can move, choose the piece you want to move on the board.

Movement

  • A piece moves forward by the exact number shown on the die.
  • A piece cannot move beyond its final tile.
  • If no legal move is available, the turn passes to the next player.

Captures And Safe Spaces

  • Landing on an opponent's piece can capture it and send it back to its starting area.
  • Pieces on safe spaces can share the space and are not captured.
  • The board handles capture and safe-space rules automatically during play.

Winning

Players are ranked as they finish all required pieces. The game ends when the final result is decided, and the leaderboard shows each player's outcome.

Online Rooms

In online mode, one player creates a room and shares the room code. Other players join with that code. The host can start once the required number of players are connected.
